Welcome to Yoopzi

Yoopzi helps you find your people through shared interests: Circles, Plans, Trips, postcards and Yoopzi Nights. These terms are the agreement between you and Yoopzi when you use the app or our website. By creating an account or using Yoopzi, you agree to them.

Who can use Yoopzi

Your account

What you share

You own what you post: postcards, photos, voice notes, replies, Plans and messages. To run Yoopzi, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, show, resize and share it with the people you chose, for as long as it stays on Yoopzi. When you delete something, we stop showing it, apart from copies we must keep for safety reports or the law.

Only share things you have the right to share, and follow the community guidelines.

If a photo, video, voice or text you post was made or changed with AI and could pass for real, turn on Made with AI when you post it. Turning it on is your declaration that it’s synthetic. We may add the label ourselves, and remove AI fakes of real people.

Meeting people in real life

Yoopzi helps you plan to meet people. The people you meet are independent of Yoopzi, and we can’t check everyone or control what happens at a meetup.

If something goes wrong, report it in the app and, if anyone is in danger, contact local emergency services first.

Things you must not do

When we act on accounts

To keep Yoopzi safe we may remove content, limit features, pause an account for a time, or remove it, especially after reports. We usually explain why in the app. If you think we got a post or reply wrong, ask us to look again in Settings › Content decisions within 30 days; for anything else, write to support@yoopzi.app. A person always looks again.

Leaving Yoopzi

You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Your data. We delete or anonymise your account data as described in the privacy policy.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Yoopzi running and safe, but we provide it “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Yoopzi isn’t responsible for what other people do, on the app or when you meet them, or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Gurugram, Haryana have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you other rights.
