How we keep Yoopzi kind, safe and real, online and at the table.

Last updated 2 October 2026

This is a working draft written in plain English. It will be reviewed by a lawyer before Yoopzi launches, and we’ll tell you in the app if anything important changes.

Be kind

Yoopzi is for finding your people. Treat everyone the way you’d want a new friend to treat you. Disagree with ideas, never attack people.

Label what AI made

Synthetic media must be labelled. If a photo, video, voice or text was made or changed with AI and could pass for real, turn on Made with AI when you post it. Filters and light touch-ups don’t count. The Yoopzi team can add the label to anything that needs it, and only the team can take its own label off.

Reporting and what happens next

Every post, reply, Plan, profile and chat has a report option. Reporting is private: the person isn’t told who reported them. Our team reviews reports and may remove content, warn, pause an account for up to 30 days, or remove it. Serious harm, like threats or anything involving a child, leads to removal straight away and may be reported to the police. Reports about someone under 18, sexual content, threats and intimate images go to the whole team at once.

For an intimate image shared without consent, an AI fake of a real person, or anything illegal, use Report illegal content (also in Settings): it reaches our Grievance Officer, and we act within 2–3 hours.

Think we got something wrong? Ask us to look again in Settings › Content decisions, or write to support@yoopzi.app.
